Dyneval’s CEO wins Women in Innovation Award

Dyneval Women in Innovation 2022-23 Award Winner

Dyneval is proud to announce that their Chief Executive Officer, Dr Tiffany Wood, has won a £50,000 Women in Innovation Award 2023 in recognition for her role in bringing the technology behind the Dynescan Semen Analyser from the lab bench to market alongside her co-founder and the inventor behind the core technology, Dr Vincent Martinez.

The aim of this competition is to find women with exciting, innovative ideas and ambitious plans that will inspire others.   Dr Tiffany Wood says, “I am delighted to be among the 50 award winners this year and grateful to receive the package of mentoring, coaching and business support that will help me scale Dyneval and build upon our early commercial success”.

New insights addressing fertility challenges

Award winners must be able to make a significant contribution to a pressing societal, environmental or economic challenge.   For Dyneval, reduced conception rates are a challenge facing both, livestock production and human fertility.  The precise and automated Dynescan Semen Analyser is already generating new insights into the robustness of semen samples and quality control across the veterinary industry, where return of conception rates to the levels seen in the 1960s could reduce methane emissions by 7.5% while returning over £10,000 profit per annum for the average UK dairy farm of 148 cows.   With this award, Tiffany plans to build partnerships in the human fertility industry to provide better healthcare for men struggling with fertility.
